ABOUT MARC  ·  MARKETING EXECUTIVE  ·  MENTOR

Built across the whole marketing discipline.
Driven by people.

I was trained in consumer packaged goods, where the product, the brand, the price and the shelf all have to work together. I’ve carried that into boilers, coffee brewers, dental offices, and now AI. I roll up my sleeves, build the team, and get it done.

Marketing is
a team sport.

HOW I GOT HERE

One playbook, a lot of different shelves.

Every stop taught me something new. But the job never changed: find out what customers value, build the plan, and get the whole company behind it.

Hands dirty.
Team first.

  1. 1

    Where it started

    Trained in consumer packaged goods

CPG taught me the whole marketing mix: research, product, price, brand, the shelf, and the P&L. It’s still how I think.

  2. 2

    B2B meets CPG

    Lochinvar

I took that playbook to boilers and water heaters. We named and launched CON·X·US and took a new platform to 42% of its category.

  3. 3

    Brand through change

    Wilbur Curtis Co.

Coffee brewers, a US and Mexico product team, five launches in one year, and the People of Curtis campaign as the family handed off the brand.

  4. 4

    Growth with rules

    Healthcare

Dental groups and an oral surgery practice. Call centers, patient booking, HIPAA rules, and spend that has to prove itself.

  5. 5

    Right now

    Fractional CMO + practical AI

I help leaders build the plan, build the team, and make it work, using AI where it actually saves time and money.

HOW I WORK

A marketer who knows the whole business, not just the channels.

Marketing doesn’t live in a corner. It touches the product, the price, the sales team, the call center, and the numbers finance cares about. I connect all five, so the plan works on Monday morning, not just in the meeting.

That means working side by side with sales, product, finance and operations. No silos. One plan everyone can repeat back.

“The best marketing doesn't start with a campaign. It starts with understanding the customer.”

HEALTHCARE, TOO

Growth in a business with rules.

Dental groups and specialty practices taught me that marketing only works if the phone gets answered. So I built the call center playbook, tracked every lead to a booked visit, and cut what didn’t pay. All of it inside HIPAA rules.

LEADERSHIP & MENTORING

Build leaders, not just plans.

The best thing I’ve built isn’t a campaign. It’s the people who went on to lead their own teams. Here’s how I mentor my teams.

Clarity over
complexity.

People should know where we’re going and what winning looks like.

Collaboration
over silos.

Marketing works when sales, product, finance and ops pull the same way.

Accountability
with curiosity.

Measure honestly. Learn fast. Keep getting better.

“Greatness is not a function of circumstance. Greatness, it turns out, is largely a matter of conscious choice, and discipline.”

ACROSS THE WHOLE COMPANY

Marketing works when every department pulls together.

I don’t sit in the marketing office. I’m on the plant floor, in the finance review, with the engineers, and listening in on the call center. Here’s what we build together.

Sales
One message, one pipeline, one scoreboard.
Manufacturing
Build what we can sell, and sell what we can build.
Operations
Make promises the business can keep.
Finance
Tie every dollar to a result.
Engineering
Turn what customers need into specs.
Customer service
Hear the problems first, then fix them.
Call centers
Turn calls into booked customers.
Product & R&D
Launch on time, with a story that sells.

TWO KINDS OF BUSINESS

I know how both are built.

Manufacturing

Products, plants and dealers. Long sales cycles. Engineers, specifiers, distributors and contractors all get a vote. Launch dates run on production, so marketing has to plan with the plant.

Same discipline.
Different playbook.

Dental & medical

People, schedules and chairs. The product is the visit. The front desk and the call center make or break growth. Referrals, insurance and HIPAA shape every message.

  • B2BLong cycles and many buyers: dealers, engineers, specifiers and contractors.
  • B2CBrands, shelves and retail partners. It’s where I learned the game.
  • Direct to consumerSelling straight to the customer, from online buying to patients booking their own visit.
